1. WEDDING FLORISTRY CLIENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.1 Quotes & Orders

  • All quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

  • Quotes are based on seasonal availability, market pricing, and the scope outlined at the time of quoting.

  • Floral designs are custom and interpretive, not exact replicas of inspiration images.

  • Changes to orders must be submitted in writing no later than 21 days prior to the event to hello.blumehaus@gmail.com

  • Rush orders or late changes will incur additional fees and are subject to availability and market pricing.

  • Once a booking is confirmed, flowers and materials are ordered specifically for your event well ahead of time so that we have the best opportunity to acquire premium florals.

1.2 Booking & Payment Terms

  • A non-refundable booking fee of $250 is required to secure the event date.

  • Bookings are not confirmed until the booking fee is received.

  • The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the event date. Email reminders will be sent prior to this final date. 

  • Failure to pay your balance within 24 hours of the due date will result in cancellation of services. 

  • In booking with Blume Haus, you agree that no other florist, family or friend will supply, design and or display florals at the booked event.

  • Blume Haus holds the right to capture photos of floral works to be use on our business platforms. 

  • By proceeding with payment of booking fee you, the client, agree to all Terms & Conditions outlined in this contract.

1.3 Cancellations & Postponements

  • Booking fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • Cancellations:

    • More than 60 days prior: booking fee forfeited.

    • Less than 60 days prior: up to 100% of total quote may be payable due to materials already ordered.

    • Postponements are subject to availability. If unavailable, the postponement will be treated as a cancellation.

    • In the event of extreme circumstances (e.g. natural disasters, ), we will act reasonably and in good faith. We also understand that life happens, we will always assess cancellations individually and act in good faith where reasonable.

1.4 Delivery & Set-Up

  • Delivery fees are quoted separately and based on location, access, and timing.

  • The client is responsible for ensuring venue access at the agreed time.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by venue restrictions, weather, or third-party suppliers.

  • Once florals are delivered and/or installed, responsibility transfers to the client. 

  • Pack down fees are quoted separately based on location, access and timing.

1.5 Floral Installations at Venues

  • Installations (arches, hanging installations, large-scale designs) are subject to venue approval.

  • The client must disclose all venue rules, access restrictions, and bump-in/bump-out times.

  • We reserve the right to modify installation methods due to safety, weather, or venue constraints.

  • Installations are temporary and not guaranteed to last beyond the event duration.

1.6 Hire Items (Vases, Arbours, Frames, Structures)

  • Hire items remain the property of Blume Haus at all times.

  • Hire items must not be moved, altered, or removed by guests or other suppliers.

  • Loss, damage, or breakage will be charged at replacement cost.

  • Hire items are collected at a pre-arranged time unless otherwise agreed.

1.7 Substitutions & Seasonality

  • Flowers are subject to seasonal availability and market conditions.

  • Substitutions may be made for flowers of equal or greater value and purpose where necessary.

  • We do not guarantee specific varieties, colours, or sizes.

1.8 Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

  • Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL.

  • Nothing in these terms excludes rights under the ACL.

  • To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to resupplying the services or refunding the cost. 

1.9 Liability & Risk

  • We are not liable for damage caused by extreme weather, pests, heat, or venue conditions.

  • We are not responsible for allergic reactions or injuries caused by flowers or installations.

  • The client agrees to indemnify us against claims arising from misuse or interference by third parties.

1.10 Photography & Marketing

• We reserve the right to photograph our work and use images for marketing unless otherwise agreed.
